Ajaan Thate was one of the most renown monks in the Thai forest tradition. He was one of the most senior disciples of Ajaan Mun, who could be considered as the father of the Dhuthanga Kammatthana Practice in Thailand. Until today, Ajaan Tate is highly respected by the Buddhist Community of Thailand, his relics are still worshipped in his monastery in Thailand!
